Not a huge X-games fan but I have some love for the city of Detroit since I saw my first non-local concert (Earth Crisis/Downset) there along with tons of other shows. I have also enjoyed skating there, seen World Industries and Toy Machine demos there in the 90s, and I feel like it’d be cool to have something involving skateboarding to help bring a bunch of much needed tourism money to the city to provide resources for growth and infrastructure. In addition to this it would probably change a lot of attitudes toward the city. Also my buddy Derrick is in this video which got me hyped. He’s the one who is skitching behind the dirt bike dude and falls.
